Maaraz al Burhani Mumbai

Thursday, July 28th, 2011

I had been to Maaraz al Burhani at Mumbai. It was superb. Well managed, well arranged, well maintained. I sometimes felt it to be too fast, but then it was necessary.

A must see for every mumin and mumena. If you have not yet been there, go as soon as possible. If you think you are too busy to go there, you are missing a great and very important feature. You have to take time out for all things in life.

Home Sweet Home

Tuesday, July 5th, 2011

After living for 3+ years in Dubai, UAE, I have shifted back to Nagpur.

I remember while flying from Nagpur to Dubai for the first time, I cried, for leaving back my family and friends here. Writing this today, after 4 days of my travel, my eyes still cry, for I left behind my friends which were dearer to me. Some of them grew close to my heart while I was in Dubai, we had never met earlier, and some of them I knew since I was a small kid. Tears fell down uncontrollably while the plane took off from Sharjah Airport. As I said to one of my friends, on question of how I’m feeling at that exact moment, like a newly wed girl, happy to go to her new home, and at the same time, sad to leave her parents. Happy to find new life, sad that she will miss her old life, and soon adjust to the new life.

All said, but, I will not be able to forget all those who have made a deep impact in my heart.

Just life

Friday, April 22nd, 2011

It’s a bright sunny friday — the long waited weekly holiday. Life just going on. Many many thoughts in mind to pour through, but cant decide on what to write and what not to write. Lot of stuff to complete.

Counting days to move to Nagpur.

Samsung E2152

Monday, January 17th, 2011

Samsung E2152 is the new mobile in use at my house. I am not so sure of how it is in features, look and work. But its just 85gms supports two sims and my son is happy with that.

A branded phone after years of using china make phones. A nice change.

Comparing Yemen

Wednesday, October 6th, 2010

I am back from Yemen after a superb trip there. Many times I had heard that Yemen is backward. I would just like to make some comparisions, which will explain themselves that Yemen is not backward at all.

I was in Haraz area, and I used 1mbps internet line on wifi with other surfers also hooked on the same network. Back in Nagpur, I could not get even 512Kbps on CDMA line which was claimed to be much better.

While at Yemen airport, there was FREE WIFI access and I used it seamlessly. At Nagpur Airport, there is no WIFI, forget using it for free.

The roads (where built) are good. The vehicles much better and as they should be given the conditions there.

Almost everywhere there was telephone coverage, even on high peaks. And I had been on very high peaks, even on Jojab (Shibaam) and gave crystal clear voice.

Keep looking out for some landmarks of Yemen as mapped by my mobile gps.
